Virtual Zippo Lighter is basically similar to another iPhone application, iLightr.

• You just choose 1 from the different lighters. There are a LOT of designs to choose from. I counted them and there are about 20 designs!
• Slide your finger across the lid or flick your wrist to open the lid.
• flick your finger down across the wheel to light up the flame.

When we touch the flame, your iPhone vibrates. If we want to choose another design, we just tap the info button at the bottom right side.

You can just open this application and browse through them.
You can also shake your iPhone to jump to a random design.

You can also click on the camera icon to make a screenshot so you can use that image as your phone’s wallpaper.

I use this mainly to check on the latest trends and also to get ideas on what I’ll wear. I always love to experiment with the clothes that I have, I’m not really a shopper perse. I love to just mix & match whatever clothes I have.

When you open the application, you’ll see 5 major areas:

To view the blog entry (item # 4), you just choose from the list. Another option is to email that blog entry to your friends via email.

Go Green is an application that provides you a new tip on how to save your environment each time you open the application on your iPhone.

Samples of these are:

AroundMe is an application that allows us to find information about the places that are near us.

I actually thought that it will not work for us who lives in the Philippines but fortunately, I was wrong It was able to find the places accurately w/c is really cool.

When you open the application, it will identify where your location is. Then you can choose which category you want to look into. Categories are as follow:

• Banks
• Bars
• Coffee
• Gas Stations
• Hospitals
• Hotels
• Movie Theater
• Nearby – I didn’t quite understand this but based on the results, it’s mostly LRT/MRT stations.
• Parking
• Pharmacies
• Pubs
• Restaurants
• Supermarkets
• Taxis
• Theaters

The distance ranges from 1km to 18km. If we choose a listing, we can see information like the address, city, phone & distance. You could also add the information to your contacts & email the information to a friend or family member.

It can also show the location on google maps. And lastly, you could see the route from where you are and to your desired listing.

It’s useful, nice and cool… When I look back, I really think that wow! how technology advances… I wonder what kind of improvements we can see in the future.
